We live in a time of rapid change and influential technological innovations that encourage transformation in almost all areas of human activity, but also the environment. Technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, smart robots, self-driving cars, 3D printing, along with other technological trends have started a new industrial revolution. Much like how water vapor, electricity and computers were the driving forces of the first three industrial revolutions, this fourth industrial revolution is driven by a range of technologies.

As with previous industrial revolutions, this fourth industrial revolution will change jobs, reshape business models, and transform entire industries. These technologies will change the way we run our companies, what jobs we will do and many other aspects of how we function as a society.

The Electrical Engineering Society invites its members and all interested parties to join in the rapid transformation of society by acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills in a rapid and efficient manner.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF PERSONS IN CONSTRUCTION AND SPATIAL PLANNING

EDZ is one of the holders of the Professional Development Program approved by the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Property for the period 2023-2024.

By participating in professional training in EDZ activities (seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.), persons who perform spatial planning and construction tasks can collect the so-called school hours according to the Ordinance on professional training of the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Property, see Croatian Official Journal on the site: NN 55/2020 od 8.5.2020.

MISSION OF THE ELECTROTECHNICAL SOCIETY

EDZ was established and is permanently engaged in activities aimed at promoting and protecting the interests of engineers, improving the engineering profession, promoting the ethics of the engineering profession, promoting education and scientific and professional training of engineers and technicians, and especially encouraging lifelong learning, encouraging and achieving optimal technological and economic development. , safety, health, environmental protection and improving the quality of the society in which it operates.

The purpose of the Society is to bring together electrical professionals of all profiles, electrical engineers, electricians, electricians, electrical engineering students, students of secondary and higher electrical engineering schools and retirees of electrical engineering, as well as experts in other specialties, who are willing to work to raise professional level and promote new knowledge, development and improvements in electrical engineering.
